Shipping & Import Duties

Domestic Shipping
All orders within the UK include free tracked next working day* delivery via DHL Express. Orders will be dispatched on the same day if placed before 12pm GMT.

International Shipping
International shipping via DHL Express is free for all customers and orders will be dispatched on the same day if placed before 12pm GMT.

Import taxes & duties

Please click here for full detail regarding international import taxes and duties. In summary, for most major markets we pre-pay the duty payments to ensure the price you see is the final price you pay. However please see the above link for confirmation of this.

*98.7% of UK orders orders arrived next day in the last 12 months when placed before 12pm GMT but as we use a third party courier we cannot guarantee this every time.

Returns & Exchanges

Free Return Policy
You may return any Bennett Winch item for a full refund within 30 days of the date you receive your order, provided the product is not used or worn in any way and is in its original condition including tags, dust-bag and gift box. This is a completely free service regardless of where you live and we aim to make it as seamless as possible by working with UPS / DHL and yourself to agree a suitable date / time for collection.

In Oct - December we increase the return window to allow for ease when gifting. The deadline for getting in touch to return / exchange items after Christmas is Jan 12th. At our sole discretion, Bennett Winch reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange of any merchandise that does not meet the requirements set forth under the terms and conditions.

We offer a flexible returns policy to ensure you receive an unrivalled shopping experience. However, if we notice that you have an unusually high returns rate on your account or are purchasing to resell, we may deactivate your account at our discretion. If you feel your access or order has been incorrectly restricted, please get in touch with our Customer Care team, who will help to resolve the issue with you.

Return/Exchange Instructions
Please securely pack merchandise to be returned or exchanged in its original condition including tags, dust bag, gift box and original shipping box. Then just contact us quoting your order number and we’ll provide further detail and send necessary paperwork.

Refunds will usually be processed within 5 working days of the goods being received and checked by the team.

Product Care

Your Bennett Winch bag is crafted from durable canvas or full-grain leather and solid brass hardware. Follow these simple care instructions to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment and adventure with your bag:

To clean our cotton canvas, simply use a cloth or sponge, some natural soap and water then allow to dry at room temperature. Never machine wash. Do not leave the bag in direct sunlight for long periods of time.

We only use veg-tanned leathers which will age beautifully over time and develop a unique patina. Due to the natural oils in the material they do not need to be treated and scuffs should buff out easily by rubbing with your thumb. If you want to use a leather conditioner, make sure it’s a natural, beeswax balm that doesn’t include any harmful chemicals.

Brass hardware
We only use solid brass hardware, which will develop a more golden, understated look through regular use. If you want to clean it or prefer a shiny appearance, please use a good quality brass polish, (taking care not to apply any to the canvas or leather as this can cause discolouration). 

The dust bag
We appreciate the irony of keeping a bag inside another bag. We would however strongly advise storing your bag this way when not in use; you’ll thank yourself next time you hit the road with a pristine carry.  


All our products are made by hand in England by experienced artisans, and the closest attention to detail and quality control is implemented.

They are built to last and have been tested rigorously to make sure they do.

In the very rare occurrence that there is a manufacturing defect throughout the years of use, please contact us and we will review then take swift action to resolve the issue. 

Even if the piece is damaged through misuse we offer a repair service and can provide a quote to fix the bag in our UK based factory, and a timeline for doing so.

Our Lifetime Promise covers all products purchased directly from bennettwinch.com or licensed retailers such as Mr Porter and off-line stockists. It does not cover second-hand bags purchased through a third-party re-seller (eg Ebay or Marrket) and we will need proof of purchase from the third-party retailer before the item can be covered under this warranty.
