Is the Duffle Bag that Comes with the Suit Carrier Holdall the Same as the Commuter?
No, they are very different holdall bags, but they do have a similar capacity. The Commuter is intended to be used as an overnight/weekend bag, while the S.C Holdall (bag) can be used with the suit carrier wrapped around or separately as a weekend bag. Besides that, these holdall bags have different shapes, materials, and linings. The reason the S.C Holdall doesn’t have a lining, laptop pocket, or internal zips is to keep the weight down, so it doesn’t become too heavy when carrying with a suit.
I Have a Weekender/Commuter Already, Can I Just Buy the Suit Carrier Separately and Wrap it Around These Bags?
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible. The holdall for the S.C Holdall was carefully and specifically designed to work with the suit carrier as a two-part system. It is a unique ‘pear drop’ shape, has leather and magnetic attachments essential for this product, and is made from a lightweight, unlined 18oz cotton twill. Wrapping the suit carrier around any of our other bags will therefore not work, as it wouldn’t fit and would essentially just fall off when being used.
How Many Suits Can I Carry in the Bennett Winch Suit Carrier?
Our travel bags with the suit compartment can fit more than one suit – however, they are designed to take a single jacket and trouser to your destination without you having to steam or press on the other side. You can fit two suits in, but you may need to do some work with an iron on the other side.
Does the Bennett Winch Suit Carrier Holdall Have a Laptop Pocket?
No, there is not a designated laptop section in the SC Holdall bag. This is done deliberately to keep additional features to a minimum and reduce weight. Most customers who need to take one either place it in a different bag or use one of our Folios to keep it protected, and then pack it centrally between clothes.

Yes, the S.C Holdall comes with a removable, waterproof 600-denier nylon shoe compartment. This helps keep your dress shoes (or even laundry or wash bag) separate from the rest of your belongings.
