Bring order to the chaos of travel with our new Flight Folio in technical Tobacco Brown suede. Handmade in London, this travel folio uses our technical suede – a moss-backed Italian hide treated on both sides to be completely waterproof, retaining the fine nap and soft velour touch of traditional suede. Inside you’ll find the same thought-through organisation as the leather version: a padded laptop sleeve for up to a 14″ MacBook Pro and an adjacent zip-secured pocket to keep documents, chargers or passports in order. The interior is lined with hard-wearing Alcantara® suede, and premium Riri® zips keep your belongings secure. Designed for life at 30,000 feet and on the ground, this folio slips easily into a carry-on but holds everything you need to keep at hand. Finished in a rich Tobacco Brown colour, our technical suede will resist rain and spills yet develop character over time, offering a luxurious, practical alternative to leather.

Care

Although the suede is treated to add protection against water, this material looks and ‘performs’ like any other premium suede. It is a natural, very malleable material so you can use your hands or a suede brush to smooth out marks and patterns that develop or of course leave them if you prefer this appearance. Having tested this material for a few years now we find allowing the bag to develop its own unique character and patina, using a brush only when it needs a clean is the best approach.

We only use solid brass hardware, which will develop a more golden, understated look through regular use. If you want to clean it or prefer a shiny appearance, please use a good quality brass polish, (taking care not to apply any to the canvas or leather as this can cause discolouration).
